Tucker Robbins, Artist and Activist

Can you tell me a little about the project you’re doing in Puerto Rico to help with earthquake relief and how it relates to art?

I believe that the arts will lead the way to recovery. I create pieces from the wreckage of the earthquake, which builds awareness for other artists to join and come help with the relief effort.

Why do you do what you do?

It makes me feel good because I see the positive impact it’s having. Artists have a voice and through their art can convey any message. What I try to do is shed light on world issues and meaningful causes through my work.

How can others make an impact on the relief efforts in Puerto Rico?

Come to Puerto Rico. Join in. Buy things from the wreckage to help the economy.
