Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Nina LaVigna I’m 21 years old, from Brigantine, NJ and a senior journalism major at St. John’s University. I chose to study journalism because of my curious nature and my love for writing. Music journalism specifically is what I want to focus on because I am a huge music listener and avid concert goer, so learning about the ins and outs of the music world and chatting with people who carry their passion of music, is rewarding to me. Especially giving those who are up and coming a platform to talk about themselves and their work. Besides writing and music taking up my time I enjoy spending time with friends, going to the beach, exploring New York City, or hiking up hills with my boyfriend. I also love hanging out with my dog Enzo as much as I can when I am home. I look forward to graduating in the spring of 2025 and seeing what the next chapter of my life holds!
